So inside job maybe? some WASA "workers" doing more than just deliberately mashing up the road?

Nothing in ttec uses copper. All aluminum

I think he meant they de-energized the T&TEC lines to get safer access to the copper telephone lines

The WASA station I believe he typed about, from the Point of entrance(TTEC supply meets your building cable) it will be regular armored cable (copper) be it high voltage or low voltage. Not sure if they stole the motors as well, those are super expensive.

Since these pest so love copper I think is about time they start getting administered some high velocity copper coated injections to the head and torso.

I've seen them strike in the oil fields long before the recent spate of theft. They use a dried bamboo rod with a hooked stick attached to pull the high voltage fuses and then either guts out the transformer or take the cable. They even make bamboo ladders on site

nah the punishment shouldn't be a fine or jail. Should be a public flogging with 12 wrapped 10 AWG wires, ends butt spliced. Lashes based on damage done to property to procure stolen goods.

Could do better
Old fan cord, remove the insulation, and fray the exposed wires, and is strokes with that.
Take what I telling you, every stroke will either draw blood, or leave some fine bits of copper wire embedded in the flesh. They will not be able to see the pieces to remove them all, and them like fragments gonna cook them and irritate them for years.

not copper except what you use in house

acsr - aluminum clad steel reinforced

Some old infrastructure from petrotrin is still copper and remained copper when they went from self generating to buying from T&TEC. They just patched into the HV with power transformers.

Its more feasible to use aluminum due to cost and weight, less sag on a span.

Getting reports of blackouts in Palmiste, Tunapuna, Arouca and Spring Village. Experienced a voltage drop twice in the Marabella area.
