What PNM employs is to stir up hype as they they did with Panday and Sat Sharma.
By doing this they gain support from their afro voters they try to show that Indos are not worth putting onto office. They create alot of hype and the PNM media houses magnify the stories. By the time the case is over and the defendants are found not guilty the damage is already done , then the media plays it downs.
In the minds of the PNM voter is to not vote for Injuns the are not PNM injuns

As i said in the Anand ched, his case and possibly Jwala going all the way to privy council... meaning YEARS.

There is a high chance the state case going and fall thru for some reason. Anand and Jwala will be awarded damages (taxpayers money) and the people who started the cases most likely will be long gone from office.

Scarfy couldn't done bray about Calder Hart and UdecoTT. Mind you his braying only started when Patos wanted to jettison his ill mannered, "wajang" arse from the Cabinet. So what happened now that he is in power? Not a damn thing because he is a lying hypocrite.

Fraud Squad probes Jwala
http://www.trinidadexpress.com/20171028 ... obes-jwala
\FORMER governor of the Central Bank Jwala Rambarran is under investigation by the Fraud Squad for an alleged conspiracy with the former general manager of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (DIC) to defraud.

During his tenure as governor, Rambarran was also the chairman of the DIC.

According to documents received by the Sunday Express, Rambarran, along with former general manager of the DIC Arjoon Harripaul, is alleged to have conspired for the latter to obtain an enhanced employment package in March 2015, which included an unusual termination entitlement of a lump sum payment equal to twice the sum of his annual cash compensation and a gratuity benefit within 30 days of termination from the organisation.

The enhanced contract, which also sought to increase Harripaul's term of employment from three to five years, was done without the approval of the board members.

This harripaul guy is now a pastor of a large church in central, how convenient.

JUHN Scarfy could never convince me how he convinced PNM supporters, that he is some sort of corruption crusader. Corruption apparently is limited to political opponents, because PNM vampires like Roundabout Rohan and such getting away scot free.

Imbert defeated in court, gets a tongue lashing
FINANCE Minister Colm Imbert has been defeated in a judicial review claim filed against him by former Central Bank governor Jwala Rambarran.

Rambarran had requested that Imbert disclose certain information to him after making an application under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). However, Imbert refused to disclose the information citing confidentiality.

But on Thursday, High Court judge Justice Frank Seepersad ordered at the San Fernando High Court that Imbert release the information within the next seven days.

The Finance Minister also came in for some harsh criticism by the judge.

“The defendant (Imbert), notwithstanding his decades of public service, cannot be so bold as to think that he can usurp this court’s function and be the judge and jury of his own credibility and expertise or that deference should be afforded in relation to his opinion because he is who he is. It is and shall remain within this court’s remit to determine what material amounts to relevant evidence and the weight and credibility of same,” said Justice Seepersad.

The judge made the statement at the San Fernando High Court yesterday morning as he ruled in favour of Rambarran, who was seeking to have certain documents disclosed to him under the Freedom of Information Act.

Those documents were correspondence allegedly sent to the director of the Intergovernmental Group of Twenty-Four on International Monetary Affairs and Development (G-24) by Imbert pertaining to a job offer Rambarran received in 2016.

In December 2015, Rambarran was fired as Central Bank governor after his appointment was revoked by acting president Christine Kangaloo on the advice of the Cabinet.

The G-24 group, of which this country is a member, is based in Washington, DC, and Rambarran applied for a job there as a senior adviser.

Rambarran said after being fired, he applied for the G-24 position, accepted an offer of employment and negotiations progressed until they hit a snag on August 16, 2016. The G-24 rescinded the employment offer. Rambarran later filed the FOIA application in March 2017, seeking correspondence between Imbert and the G-24 director on his proposed employment.

However, the Ministry of Finance refused to disclose the information, citing confidentiality and that by doing so, it could negatively impact on foreign relations and undermine national security.

But Justice Seepersad had a different view.

In delivering the ruling, Seepersad said no evidence was presented to the court to suggest this would in fact be so.

“In a democratic society, disclosure should not be restrained because of a fear that the information, if disclosed, may enable the public to reference, discuss and/or critique the Defendant’s response which was issued to the G-24 in relation to the Claimant, who, as a citizen of this Republic enjoyed the entrenched right to be treated with equality and equity. Neither a causal link nor a real and significant risk of prejudice or detriment has been established in this case and the Defendant’s reliance upon Section 26(b) and 26(d) of the Act is devoid of merit,” said the judge.
