105kw electric motor or less

A Discovery Sport P300e PHEV is a 1499cc 3cyl engine and a 80kw electric motor. That would be well within the range allowed right?

Given the specs i don't see why not.
Even the d top shotta BMW i8 would qualify as it has a 1.5 turbo engine with 105kw motor
Some rich folks goin an rel like deyself.

dey cudda rel structure the english better.
cuz it kinda confusing, cuz it can be interpreted as the electric motor can be up to 105kw while at the same time if taken as a sentence it could be seen as "engine size AND electric motor" total power output can't exceed 105kw.
Well someone call MTI an see lol
although given that bmw i8 motor output is 105kw exactly somebody high up probably have they eyes set on one or a few so dey craft d law as such :D

The Toyota sienta 7 seater hybrid looks good for a run around vehicle.

It's probably purposely vague to allow for the public servants that work at customs to give persons the option to grease the wheel. Who needs 2%....lol

vezel electric motor output is 22kw

it is a combined 105KW output, if it was to be a 105KW electric motor, the oxford comma would have been used in the sentence to say "...an engine size not exceeding 1,599 cc, and an electric motor output not exceeding 105KW."
i know u tryna come off as smart but u just looking dotish rn

what i said is the fact

Big surprise, trinidadians cant write properly leading to bad laws. Any surprise your favourite AG couldnt get a thing to stand up in court?

I know what the sentence said, if the ministry meant something else they couldve written it properly.

Lol they train already. The current all new GLE and C-Class they have are already mild hybrids so them have no excuse now. Launch the full line including the EQ's that HSM beat them to. It's a war out there.

Men out here supporting the culture of a different statement every time a government source makes a release. Is no wonder TnT gets tricked every damn time we have to negotiate with a foreign company or government.

The Volvo XC40 for 590k is a bit steep imo considering they're tax free.

Dealer price in the US is approx 55k USD.

Being generous and saying it cost them 400k per unit to bring in, they're making close to 200k on each one.

What the government should do is give the tax back as a rebate instead as they do in some countries

Some way have to be found to prevent dealers from keeping the prices the same and claiming the tax relief instead

And the only way to do this is give the customer a rebate on the price charged

More like financing is a problem. Exchange rates vary - you just need to pay more.

I read an article where Imbert listed the Ioniq Vezel Note Aqua that would qualify.

As of 2023 is the Vezel tax free to import?
