mc and dem neeeeeed to be pounding the pavement... they need to be LOOKING for criminals and criminal activities. not just rely on crowd sourced intel.
Doing actual police work is too much to ask them for.

Then traffic , not everyone pulls aside for them to pass. Some tenders are big and can't fit in certain roads. Go on YouTube and see how fast fire burns certain elements. Is better the firemen stay downtime because when they responding it means someone in distress. Hope it is not those who complaining

some things solvable, some things not. why they must respond regardless, is just in case people need rescue using the tools the fire service has.

That's a lot.

5000 calls is not 5000 fires. the majority of calls is crashes and similar incidents.

Well, okay. But they still have to respond... that's what I had meant.

Firemen get stoned, cursed, spat upon when they respond to calls and people's homes are destroyed.
A former fireman I know said according to the area, he used to walk with a 3 line

Apparently it have a fire truck that getting moved around from station to station, with a list of defects, like gauges not working, pump leaking, doors not closing, leaking roof, seats damaged, etc, and they have to use it, cause the others csnt even drive.
Even the windscreen cracked.

Trucks not even getting inspected... Can't pass inspection.

What conditions do the TTFS appliances endure to have these barage of issues? Them outing riot fires in Yemen part time or forest fires up in California or what?

A little island nation and trucks of that nature can't stand typical usage? What are the brands of these appliances? Is it the same as PTSC or sumtin? Who is responsible for fleet maintenance? Knowing all these issues yet they approved the purchase of Frontier XE pickups? What exactly are the purpose of those new Frontiers?

A big brand in fire fighting is Scania, their lineup is pretty impressive. I am sure Scania will be willing to strike a good deal with the GORTT in exchange for some appliances. Send some pitch up to Sweden or sumtin but let's not make acquisition an issue. I'm sure there has to be something Sweden can get from T&T which they need in exchange for some of those trucks!

I think a better question would be "What are the ages of the current fleet and is the Minister releasing funds on time for servicing and repair?"

D other day I gone to buy tyres by brantec.
A firetruck was there getting tyres....after they install them the fire men ask about speed balancing. They didn't bother when they hear the cost and realize they would have to pay out of their own pocket and try to get reimbursed.

Ttfs getting budget but it not reaching the vehicles. It seems they deliberately doing just like the seas bridge to give out a big contract to a financier.

Run it down and mash it up philosophy

The vehicles are used regularly, and as many are not functional, the ones in service doing triple and quadruple duty.

Thus wear and tear would be compounded.

Blatant mismanagement... And bristo, the cheif used to be engineering... Repairing the fire equipment.

Funny how I watched PEA make a video about the Woodbrook fire station that isn't even in use , a fire truck hasn't been seen there in over a decade yet the building is used. Picture the rent we pay annually for such anyway who cares taxpayers' pockets are bottomless
