Some really underwhelming performances by european countries this WC so far.

Croatia, Germany, Denmark.

Watching the game with a Japanese Brazilian family was definitely an experience. Good food and beer. They were very excited. Tomorrow will be pandemonium here. All I could think about after watching this match was this song. Definitely a similar sort of event.

Costa Rica placed 4th in Concacaf qualifying and got the favourable inter-confed tie with New Zealand.
Really shows the gulf in class between the various federations.

Sometimes I feel dem pumpkin vine business does be blight. Canada played some pretty decent football yet they still lost.

Anyone wanna go to the world cup? There's still tickets available for resale as low as like $100 usd for some group stage games remaining.

just checked on fifa.com.

Want to go bad but kinda apprehensive about going alone.

Anyone who points out this is deemed islamophobe.

Apparently Qatar has been publishing official attendances above the capacities of the stadiums themselves and this despite TV viewers actually seeing rows and rows of empty seats. The only defense of the lies so far has been that its just the West hating on Qatar

My money is on

South Korea - I think this might be 2 - 1. Korea has been very consistent so they have a strong fighting chance.
Portugal - I think this match might end in a draw but I hope not.
Brazil - I think Brazil will come out strong so it will end up like the England or France matches of 6 - 2 or 4 - 1.

It's surprising how little is being out of it in the media though.

Resale tickets are going for cheap too.
