Masi needs to be officially fired.

Right now there's just speculations that he's gone due to the FIA documents being sent to Australia with respect to staff.

His decision on the last lap was one of the worst in racing history and will forever bring Max's first WDC into disrepute.

True dat. But if he is replaced (and that is a big if) I hope his replacement is able to keep Wolf and Horner at an arms length.

Charlie never had the issues that Mike has even though all the team principals have the race director's ear.

It's more to do with Masi being incompetent.

I actually think it's their biggest change in the last decade lol

Masi shouldn't be fired bit his role changed...he handled the situation poorly, and he's made several wrong decisions over the last yr affecting both sides. What he's shown is that the role needs much more support - him alone is entirely insufficient - however he has also done his fair share of positive.
Let's not forget charlie had his fair share of detractors until his last few years.

I’m willing to bet that Merc does everything to secure that 8th title for Hamilton. Even if it means slowing down Russell for his first year.

I figure they did everything to try to secure the 8th title in 2021 too

Looking forward to see what Bottas can do with Alfa. Last year he got 226 points, 223 in 2020, 326 in 2019, 247 in 2018 and 305 in 2017 . Lets see if his success with Mercedes was due to just being in the best car on the grid.

Rumours are Ferrari used their wind tunnel to check both the wide and narrow concepts, and the wider was aerodynamically more efficient.
Only two cars thus far with a big butt are AM and Ferrari.
Also, seems that Newey has found a trick and they're trying to hide it. The actual rbr seems really secretive and the vid shows the rear planted firmly on the ground and a nose that drops over and above the front wing instead of blending like everyone else's.
Exciting times

I really wish Lotus were on the grid this year. They were the champions of ground effects cars
Interestingly, Ferrari has been building hypercars sans wings for years now, and all that experience in managing airflow under a car should in theory give them a good push

It's interesting to see front wings high off the ground as compared to last year.

And turkey in. That'll be 3 yrs in a row Istanbul fills in lol

Seems this yr whoever deals with the porpoise effect will be the winner. McL and Ferrari so far up top.
Expect Merc to do like 2019 and bring a whole new car in Bahrain to test

Good

Sochi was a boring race and Istanbul is usually better.

I wonder if these cars will take turn 8 flat considering the new ground effect changes in regulations.

I liked the long run down to the first corner... And can't forget Alonso skipping turn 1 and 2 and rejoining at 3
