woke man won plaudits from the woke media but was berated by fans. Who would have thought that fans didn't want the show to be all about Teela.
Spoiler He-Man only makes one real appearance, in episode 1, the rest is just flashbacks

Garbage revival of the series. He-man only appeared once in the first episode and even then that first episode was all about uplifting Teela to the Man at Arms promotion and how great and strong she is. Don't know who they thought the target audience for this revival of the series is if not for young boys who are now in their thirties who used to watch the show in the 90's.

There's also a Part 2 to this to be released at a later date. But I'm sure it's going to be a passing of the torch to Teela by Prince Adam as he gives her the Power Sword which will then turn her into "She Woman" or might just keep the name Teela as she probably won't want to have a secret identity considering how the character complained soo much in the series about Prince Adam hiding his identity from her as He Man.

You hit the nail on the head. Given the woke media She-woman might look something like DC's latest she-hulk.

Oh boy. At this rate, Kevin Smith may make Clerks 3 an inoffensive woke, gender inclusive, sexual identity pandering reboot starring the kids of Randall, Dante, Jay and Silent Bob.

YouTube's Critical Drinker video still makes me want to see this He-Man though.

Is it at least better than the Netflix SheRa?

Kevin Smith is already dead to many people. He really looking like a big kant. Critical Drinker's vids are gems, lol. I not wasting any time with this or anything else going down the same woke path.

Will stick to a good anime once in a while. Anime has already surpassed ALL sales of American comics for a few months straight in the USA. Think it was My Hero Academia or Demon Slayer that has single handedly outsold all of the American comic book industry combined. There has been speculation that as the west is such a huge anime consumer, that some of the west's influences would be soon be forced upon the Japanese to appease the woke section but Japanese people doh give a flying fack about any of that nonsense, thankfully.

It's being "review bombed" - just like Last Jedi. No way people just think it's hot garbage, right?

kevin smith needs to focus on his own stuff, rather than other properties. jay and silent bob reboot was enjoyable. not woke.

but i guess with netflix being involved (and other networks), things gotta be netwoke... hehe get it?

Biggest problem I have with woke washing is they are more creative in trashing the properties they're "improving" than doing anything positively remarkable or beneficial.

Have any of their original properties had any impact comparable to the 80s and 90s shows? Closest I can think of is Steven Universe, and that may be as quickly forgotten as Adventure Time.

Samurai Jack made the time leap literally and figuratively pretty well to finish the story after a decade or so...

Basilisk and Devilman were also properties that made the jump pretty well

Ok, so just watched ep1. Had more action than the combined episodes of Netflix SheRa I watched. Animation was good and though the original Skeletor VA set the bar impossibly high, Hamill put in a good effort.

I know it'smagical fiction but Teela's reaction to Adam's secret is out of character for someone of her training and background. All that training and accomplishment was replaced in an instant by an angry, sheltered emo teen.

The He man re-takes ruined the story. This is not He man.The title of the show says otherwise. This is another aspect of the old story being told from another perspective after the main story.I compare it to the Joker movie.Nothing to do with Batman. If it was about He man they would have named it such.
Good series IMO.I had no expectations or pre- conceptions and I am glad Teela got her story told. What I would like in future is the Orco story. He is a potentially epic character to develop
