I watched the highlights as I said before you need punching power to stop Usyk . AJ did not show intent in the fight and Usyk imposed his will.

After viewing the fight one hopes to see a challenge from AJ but unless he improves his power or boxing skills the result will remains the same.

Styles make fight and I believe a big punching heavy weight or big heavyweight will take out Usyk.

AJ left his mark on his face, he can be stopped with heavy fast hands or even not so fast.

Yup, nail on the head there. Like Roy Jones said too, you can't let the smaller man come in and establish himself like that so easily, especially in the first round! AJ had to use his size and power more but Usyk's footwork man, the set up for his shots, the speed, AJ just couldn't break that rhythm and get to fight his own fight.

Usyk always genuinely amazed me at how agile and insanely active a big man like him is... and he's able to keep that up for the entirety of the fight. Elite level fighter / athlete right there. Man said he's not in this for money or fame, only glory.

It was a great technical heavyweight fight between 2 Olympic champions, and honestly, the fastest 12 rounds of boxing I ever witnessed. Fight just flew by!

Meanwhile... official highlights from AJ Usyk:

Fury takes the win!

Really great fight from both men. Already being called a "modern day classic".

Didn't expect it to go that far but damn! Wilder ain't show any love after the match, still toting. Fury gonna be living inside his head forever now, lol

Yup, good fight.

Wilder just didn't have the stamina of Fury beyond the 4/5 round. Not sure what happened. Especially when Fury is the one who looks less fit and came in 4lbs too heavy? lol

Wilder came in the heaviest he ever did at around 238lbs I think. Was going be a test of stamina with all that extra muscle mass he gained. Like Fury said, this ain't no bodybuilding ting. He got in Wilder's head outside the ring and showed his boxing prowess inside of it.

I don't like Wilder eh, but after this last fight he did earn back some respect for not giving up and pushing on like a warrior. He was fighting the majority of that fight on pure heart.

These big guys in heavyweight have no weight limit btw.

Behind the Scenes as Tyson Fury Knocks Out Wilder in 2021 Fight of the Year | REAL TIME EPILOGUE

Top Rank for some reason not including footage of the final KO in round 11 in their official highlight vids and also taking down a lot of people's vids.

Final brutal KO in round 11.

I wonder what's up with that? Not their usual MO. Hmmm.

I missed the fight!

Been waiting to see someone knock Canelo out the ring for way too long. Looks like a Russian had to put down that wuk oui. Looking forward to take it in.

I wonder if AJ will retire if he loses again lol. Really can't see him doing anything to overcome Usyk.

I have Haney to win on points as he did. Too fast and slick for a power puncher with shorter arms and slower even though the skill set of Kambosos is very good.

Haney would not be know as a KO artist ,he is a boxer in the classic slick sense a la Floyd Mayweather. Not I am not saying he is like Mayweather who before him had slick boxers like Kevin Kelly , Leonard and Ali.

Everyone is concerned with KOs but the boxer puncher is the real artist in the ring.

What was disappointing was the reaction from Ryan Garcia, sour grapes

Davis became a better fighter with that KO win over Romero

Beterbive may be the man to beat Usyk

Soo true!

Only thing exciting was Haney's jab constantly penetrating Georgie's guard.

Beterbiev vs Smith tonight could be a good one, both with KO power but the odds have it going to Beterbiev

Just caught it. Some heavy hand from Beterbiev put smith out of commission real early. Smith looked big in from of him but he just got overpowered yes.

Bertibieve is a super puncher, he destroyed Joe Smith Jr. One KO in the 1st round and two more in the 2nd Round.

Wishes Smith a recovery went to the hospital with a concussion.

Possible unification with Bivol or a fight with Yardie next.

On a side not Ex Boxers the Klitscho brothers one the Mayor of Kiev , Lomochenko and Usyk have reportedly taken up arms in a stance for the Ukeraine, huge respect for these men.

And STILL....

Split decision -
Viktor Fesechko 116-112 for Usyk
Steve Gray 115-113 for Usyk
Glenn Feldman 115-113 for Joshua [ w t f ]

It wasn't a big spectacle like some other heavyweight title fights but both guys put in a great performance. Tough for AJ, could see from how he handled it after the fight. Maybe we will finally get the Wilder vs AJ fight now.

Next big one gona be Canelo vs GGG III

Agreed.

Text book fight. Anthony was almost robot like. As you said, solid work from each fighter, they both had almost a year to prep. Don't forget Usyk was on the battlefield for Ukraine too.

If you get the chance watch the Teo Firpo vs Campa fight. That was pure fire. Teo put on a proper "big spectacle". I have a feeling Teo could see the future with some of his moves.

Some more big ones on the horizon.

Lol  Will def give that fight a watch then, thanks!

^^ And yeah, some good fights indeed. Didn't know Wilder had a fight set for this year. Will be interesting to see where his head is at.
