VMCOTT SERVICE CENTER

Postby fokhan_96 » May 24th, 2021, 12:35 pm

Saw Vmcott advertising that they open to the public and they would fix "any vehicle, any problem ".
Anyone utilized this service yet? Reviews?

Just saw the TTPS vehicle auction thread, then a VMCOTT thread appears. Cool, lol.

And no, I haven't tried the service.

Yeah it’s a few years now they open to the public . Decent enough service . Check their fb page and all to see what they do. It’s even around the same time they opened their automatic car washes

When I was looking to clear up issues before inspection, I went in Dec 2020 with 2 busted power steering boot rubbers, 1 side of which was dripping fluid, a VVT solenoid gasket leak, and dry tensioner pulley that was making more noise than Exodus pan yard, and paid a $500 assessment fee for them to tell me what exactly had to be changed, and all they could find wrong was a weak gearbox mount, which by the way was not even weak. Their assessment team didn't find any oil leak, and didn't find busted power steering boot rubbers, even though it's plain as day looking at you on the lift.
They also told me that they couldn't fix anything unless they got to see the certified copy.
I'm not saying anything bad about the place, but you put 2 and 2 together.

The TT at the end of the name should have told you they were to be avoided as the State has proven that there are very few things that they can run with any degree of competence.
