Anyone here working falck nutec?

I need to get on a platform asap and don't have offshore training.

I understand they do the class when they get a certain quota. Directory not helpful.

Anyone can point me in the right direction as to who to call and how soon I can get it?

Tropical Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (TBOSIET)

Course Duration: Three (3) Days
Course Validation: Four (4) years
Visit/Work Specification: For times extending overnight and more
Modules cover Tropical Waters only

Phase 1 - E-Learning Theory – Recommended at least seven (1-7) days

Will this be sufficient to get me on a platform in guyana waters?

Or the above is the only way?

You will get to go once you have TBOSIET and pass your offshore medical examination.

Yes but you need to check if your are required to have an Marine industry safety training cert .

In the UK you need what's call MIST training, not sure if same here. Been 25 years since I last worked in TT waters so not updated.

Also if you are in the Instrumentations, E&I or Telecoms you gonna need COMPEX certs, but that's for UK, Africa , Brazil. Not sure about Caribbean waters. Not an easy course to pass.

If you are an independant Contractor you gonna need private insurance or if you work for someone then they need to provide your insurance.

Then you need a offshore medical cert .

Once on-board you gonna need to get your internal electrical isolations authority done and permit to work. Normally takes a couple of weeks or trips .
