it also suspected they want to remove scripted shows from hbomax and keep it on hbo instead.

they removed 6 movies already and cancelled batgirl and the scoob! sequel.

The worse part was that both Batgirl and Scoob! were basically finished and ready to drop when they were canceled. Reports say that it was a tax write off, which means that those two movies can NEVER be monetized in any way shape or form.

I have a subscription but for some reason every now and then I get a message in the app and on the TV that HBO MAX is not available in my country. Using both broadband and mobile data.

Where is HBO Max available? https://help.hbomax.com/us/Answer/Detail/000001289
It does list Trinidad and Tobago.

If you’re located in a country or region listed above, see HBO Max isn't available message. https://help.hbomax.com/us/Answer/Detail/000001252

Contact HBO through that page.
They probably added your ip address in a blocklist and a good bit from this region. Many US/CAN companies doing that for a lot of websites and services now claiming it's to protect them from hackers and server attacks.

i using HBO Max all the time and never seen that message.

I get HBO Max via my Flow account (I have a TV/internet bundle with HBO as part of it).
My device is the playstation 5 gaming console system.

if is both broadband and mobile data, unlikely to be a random anti-spam blacklist entry.
i would blame the apps, but since you seeing it on desktop too, idk. maybe you are downloading the apps from the wrong country app store or something? maybe delete the app and all its settings and redownload the latest version?

Anyone else having issues using HBO Max apps?

All of the apps on my LG TV / FireTV have updated to the US version which has now been changed to "Max" and the caribbean HBO max credentials no longer work.

I can only sign in via the web now and phone apps.

I think I saw something last week that the rollout of Max in Latin America is later on this year. Till that time HBO Max remains as the brand.

The ppl experiencing problems are you all solely on Fire sticks? Or are you all using VPNs as well?
