Did you see the first 3 movies and the Animatrix?

Saw the 3 movies in cinema. If things were covidless, I wouldn't have gone to the cinema for this one though. Had no motivation to watch the Animatrix.

Gotcha. But even with all the matrix knowledge in the world, I doubt it'd be enough to get me through that movie.

My brother finished it not too long ago. He just msged me and was like "Boi....sigh"

Said all the action was in the trailer and he just didn't want to talk about it. Like he need time to recover, lmao

Matrix Resurrections was really good!
If you went in thinking this would be like a John Wick movie you'd be disappointed.
The Matrix franchise was 10% action and 90% brain challenge and this one delivered.
It wasn't the mind-job that the first one was but it continued the story and the complexity - even leaves room for sequels.

to me they seem to just recycle some things from the first movie and try to make it seem like it's something different.

on US HBOMAX, there's an animated series called Ten Year Old Tom -- take it in!

if you liked The Life and Times of Tim, you'd enjoy this! (Same creator)

Peacemaker episodes 1 - 3 came out today.

I'm not a fan of James Gunn cause he does too many cliches with a bad storyline, but this series has surprised me. i liking it better than the MCU tv shows lol

anyway, this is the intro that wins all intros lol

Those were standalone episodes which don't really affect the storyline.

One is an hour of Rue talking to Ali and the other is an hour of Jules talking to a therapist.

F9 did test my comprehension abilities and left me a bit bewildered.
A cinematographic callaloo designed to test the already mentally fatigued.

Taking a look at it and you can also get 1 episode of other series for free - Mare of Eastown, Peacemaker, Succession and multiple episodes of Friends

I mean its not Disney+ level of enticement like their US$1.50/month in Novemeber last year or Prime who routinely offers 1 month trials but I guess its more than NF ever offers.
