Postby slickrick777 » December 15th, 2020, 6:08 pm

Any reviews on these, to ship in these will be costly so was thinking to pick up something local, although online the rated ones dont see them here example yamaha, sonos etc..well I know there are alot of you have, can someone point me in the right direction etc, I watch 4k Blurays off my Xbox One X on a Samsung Qled...thanks!

Never seen a decent unit locally.
You can look around but if you are convinced on a unit of this type then I suggest bring in something with reviews and what you are looking for.

Luxsam Industries Ltd are the agents for Samsung electronic equipment, TV's etc

The Klipsch Cinema series of sound bars are really good.
Also check the Sonos Arc, Denon HEOS Bar, Polk Audio Command Bar and Sennheiser Ambeo 3D soundbars

Unfortunately Slick the general rule is you get what you pay for in audio

Yes and no eh.
It have plenty crap systems selling for big $$$, and quite a few decent systems selling at reasonable prices. All depends on what you want, your budget and where you buy.

The Polk Audio Command Bar is US$299 with sub and has Alexa built in
great for telling Alexa what song to play or to dim the lights and turn on the TV

I was looking at the Klipsh KSB 260 at the wizz, I think its about $1000. I was also looking at the Logitech z625 with the optical in. That is closer to $2000 but I'm pretty sure its worth it!

HDMI input is much better than optical.
HDMI can pass higher-resolution audio, including the formats found on Blu-ray: Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio. These formats can't get transmitted across optical.

That's good - so it will respond immediately to turn on the TV and dim the lights

I have a Sony soundbar with the wireless sub a few years now and it's quite impressive for older tech (no HDMI output, the available connections being RCA, optical and BT).

Doing some cleaning so it's not by the TV but this is the sound bar component.

For the ones with wireless subwoofer, has anyone had any issues with it interfering with WiFi? Most everything is on the 5GHz band but a couple older devices (and home cordless phone) and when further away from the WiFi Router still uses the 2.4GHz band sometimes. Simple as channel swapping on the router if there is an issue?

I see PriceSmart has some Samsung ones, was considering one of those, both are with wireless subwoofer. Does anywhere sell just a soundbar only, that might work as well.

Does anyone have experience bringing down a soundbar only type and can share the skybox fees for that type? One like this:

Thanks.

the weight gonna cost, thats why I reverted to sourcing something local but only brands I am seeing here is some low end Samsung etc, supoose to make a turn down Standards and Fens and see what those guys have b4 i decide if to ship in 1, but the weight of them gonna cost you unless you ship sea freight etc which gonna be a wait but cheaper,
