Wasa price was over due to go up. So any price increase should cover that and operations cost for the utility. For SIDS you generally don't privatize critical utilities.
It's a service designed not to profit off. As it currently stand, as with everything else is heavily subsidized. So gradual price increases will probably happen.

From the video clip I see on WhatsApp it seems that the main line feeding south of the creek collapsed and water wasting like crazy. Not sure how long that will take to be repaired.

WASA AGAIN
Following Tuesday's collapse of a 36 inch line crossing the Godineau River, South Oropouche, another major pipeline has ruptured at the Cocoyea Roundabout, in San Fernando overnight, spewing countless gallons of water. As of this morning, the water was still flowing.
