How about if payroll was getting 1k out of that 3k every month.....
Ah gone
This reminds of when NIB used to publish delinquent employers in the gazette and local newspapers. Employers would rush last minute to make payments to get their names off the list before press release and the politics came into play with who know who calling their friends to get that stopped ,well it starting back very soon. Anyway reputation in business is everything and Employers don't like to be shown in a bad light but I believe the only way for state companies to make a profit is yuh hadda name and shame.bluefete wrote:LOLZ.
So ah hear the reason why the Acting CEO was suspended goes something like this:
The Board of Directors gave him an instruction to put the names of about 30 very delinquent customers in the papers.
Two days before the names were to be published - The Water Park people and the Blue Waters people paid their arrears or some very large sums.
The CEO told the Corp Sec. that he would remove the names but a note had to be sent to the BoD outlining what had happened. The note never reached the BoD. So the next Board meeting the question was asked about the 2 names and when the Minister heard what happened the instruction came down to suspend him - initially for 2 weeks.
Now the Minister allegedly had it in for the Acting CEO so don't expect him to come back or if he does, he will not last for very long.
With respect to the overpayment of $310k, that is another bacchanal involving the union and might very well end up in court as it has to deal with part of the terms and conditions of employment.
But me ent know nutten. I just guessing.
