Phillip talks a good game but does he realise that it requires 21 seats to form the Gov't, who are the others in PEP? Where are the constituency offices? Where are the shadow MPs and shadow ministers, where's the policy documents with detailed plans and people on the ground to disseminate same? Unlike the PNM and UNC who have the luxury of presenting their faces and promises mere weeks before the GE any other (serious) contender has to do the groundwork to create the groundswell. PEP seems like a cult of personality suitable for social media but not equipped for real life.

Take the PDP for example, WD stated he wants to be the Mayor of POS come next LGE, ppl laugh not realizing that Duke has been meeting with the East POS communities and actively canvassing, speaking their ghetto/grassroots language. Whether that redounds to his benefit is left to be seen but at least he's truly active politically whilst PEA comes across as an SJW
Any seat taken away from PNM is a win. 1 from 21 leaves 20

How does someone become a Mayor?

Is the Mayor not APPOINTED by whichever party wins that area - for example, if PNM controls POS, they appoint the mayor and if UNC controls Chaguanas, they appoint the mayor?

Or is the mayor voted into office?

How can Watson Duke become Mayor of POS? Or does he have delusions of grandeur?

just going to say this, but something seriously wrong with how we socializing boys on the island. Most of the boys coming out duncy head. Plenty even worse than duncy head.

kudos to the ministry for publishing names and schools. We, the public, paying for the scholarships. We should know who receiving our money. If these students would rather not be named, just leave the public monies alone, simple.

also not a single govt school on that list. Disappointing because pre-covid a few of them were coming along really well.

my money not going to fund lotto winners so that ent my concern. is up to lotto players if they want to accept that and still spend their money. everybody see for themselves numbers showing on screen before the balls even start bouncing. everybody see. everybody see. naked and shameless

back to the list tho --

hillview IT faculty need a raise imo. that one school alone take like half of all the available IT schols. whoever that teacher is in hillview doing a real good job.

dais another one of the benefits of the list. we could see which schools excelling in specific areas and maybe students could put choices based on what they want to do (eg parents that want their kids for IT might prioritize Hillview over schools that ent have as strong an IT program).

The ole lessons scalping ticket.

We had a maths teacher in form 3 who used to tell us to read the textbook. He used to teach in paid lessons though. Exam time in Form 5 we didn't have an Add-maths teacher either. Lessons.

We didn't have a spanish teacher from form 3 to 4. Exam was in Form 4. Lessons from somewhere else.

We didn't have a blasted Maths or Chemistry teacher for half of Form 6. They get 2 fellas who just get a scholarship the year before to teach us in school. Setta mc sheit always going on always forever. Lessons.
