The Douen say economy doing well and the dumbcant7 prove this by posting articles saying The malls full. PNM diehards dummies is really a special kind of people boi.

Well, Imbert pointed to the Financial Stability Report, the soundness indicators for the banking and insurance industry and the S&P Report that the UNC fanboys like to lie about, they were the basis for him saying the economy is doing better than we thought.

The newspaper articles just corroborate that there is high activity in the retail sector.

But you, forever frustrated that anything positive might be occurring in T&T while PNM is in power, disagree based on nothing more than your animus. And for you and other uninformed politically frustrated ppl, that is all you need.

How are diplomats resident abroad going to "bring in million dollar vehicles"? That is a perk for travelling officers resident in T&T.

When you criticise, try and make sense nah.

At first, I thought the Express headline was a little sensational and not a direct quote from the PM. But with comments like this, it makes it quite appropriate.

Call it whatever you want. Some ppl hold no real ideological position on anything, they just look to see which party doing it so they will know whether to oppose or support.

The very Moonilal joined the highway reroute movement when PNM was in power, govt change and he pelt them aside like a sack of aloo and he building highway through the area he was opposing before.

Case in point.

If the red party decided it was a good idea to start a plumbus factory, you would think it was a great idea.
1. We cannot afford a space program.
2.There is no revenue to be made for us from a space program.
3.Aluminium industries would firetruck our environment at a rapid rate, case in point Guyana, and Jamaica, and that was based on knowledge I got from CXC geography two decades ago.Keith has a doctorate in that field and should know better.(He doesn't)
4.We ran Tobago Hilton into the ground, up jumped Magdalena. How much revenue we getting from that?
5.Any run of the mill tour boat operator would tell you that the Bon Accord Lagoon is the breeding ground for countless species of wild life that live in the Buccoo Reef, and is a protected area. You want to build a mega hotel, whose profits would be exported, from a company that has a track record in bobol over there to destroy the lagoon?
I know lagoon is PNM jargon referring to a certain kind of people, but not in this instance.

But by all means, lets support Master Keith.

Not the point. The point is, everything the pnm government gets their hands in, involves corruption, and alot of racism

1. I think you erroneously think a space program is sending a man to the moon or Mars or something. A space program is as simple as operating satellites.
2. Your myopia is on full blast here.
3. Guyana and Jamaica are engaged in bauxite ore extraction. That is not the same as aluminium smelting and product manufacture. I would have thought your 3 in CXC Geography would have taught you that. Bahrain is 1/5 the size of TT and has one of the largest smelter plants in the world.
4.Magdalena was about to enter into contract with Apple Leisure Group the largest integrated charter operator in the US right before covid-19
5. Sandals was not going to be on the lagoon.

Rowley talking dung as usual but jacklegs will run with it.

He didn't say in his speech the court found that the CEC for the smelter was illegal and was given under curious circumstances. Many groups at the time protested the environmental effects. Consultations was done AFTER contract was signed off, finances were arranged, surreptitious prep work began and protests ensued.

https://www.stabroeknews.com/2009/07/20 ... caribbean/

Sandals? lol... We all know growlers went begging to butch to build a hotel in tobago. Tobago is a nice place and have a lot of potential but if it was this great destination as he is selling, sandals would have come forward first and set up shop in Tobago long before. Also remember Afra Raymond buss the file on the contract details where T&T was at a great disadvantage. Once that happened, pnm tried to play semantics with the contract and then sandals pull out. Young and Rowley wanted to blame others than themselves. Sandals is not the only hotel and there are other types of tourism besides the traditional that tobago can compete in. You know how much ideas local persons in the Tourism sector especially in Tobago gave Growlers to run with? Nah... a man with lighter complexion who had no interest on his own ketch he.
