This Government is the worst that we have ever had in the history of our country, who ever says otherwise benefiting from them in some form or fashion

That is a choice they make, what was the narrative when the gov't gave a 2 year moratorium on such requirements during the pandemic?

That is the mindset and culture. The government could give a 3 year moratorium and the majority of people will do nothing until the day before the moratorium ends or the day after when agents are out in full force.

We being reactive not proactive as usual.

The politicians love it though.

People grow up with the idea political figures should be trusted to do the right things. When this changes, we will see more proactive

Correct

In response to the article and questions by the Express yesterday, Clarke said a high number of motorists had intentionally waited out the moratorium’s extension before visiting the offices for inspection, despite the Ministry of Works and Transport’s frequent reminders.

“Reasons for the influx is a failure of persons to make use of the moratorium provided whereby the opportunity was provided for persons to inspect their vehicles throughout the year. However, a high number of persons intentionally waited for the lifting of the extension, then to visit the Licensing Office.”

“In spite of the ministry’s constant reminders via different media platforms, some members of the public chose not to inspect their vehicles...this is a direct result of the two-year extension of expired documents issued by the Licensing Authority and persons failing to take steps to have their vehicles inspected,” he said.

I swear I read this exact thing a few weeks ago. How they wait for last minute and hence the rush, crowd and slow pace? What the ass they were doing for the last 3 months of 2022?

I always knew all these people rushing to get their vehicles inspected are being disingenuous and most of them already have their inspection date passed long ago even way before the moratorium. And now they go look to complain they can't get thru with too much long lines and having to wait outside till 2AM. People truly get what they deserve yes.

But if you voted for the side that didn't win the election, how are you being taken for a fool by the winning side?

Last minute people notwithstanding there are stories in this past week of licensing cashier's being closed at lunch time and shutting off payments well before 3.

The transport commissioner does have work to do with regards to service delivery whether he thinks otherwise
