Ibc tank fitting question

Postby axe » May 30th, 2020, 2:18 pm

I've used a 2 inch female adapter on ibc tank before but I got one recently and it seems the standard pvc 2 inch female adapter can't work

Any ideas, or options will be appreciated

Thanks

2" poly discharge ball valve with NPT thread or QD fitting is standard.

Do you have a contact for tanksalot? Also, where are they located?

Some people does cut a hole and use a unseal.

Now mine came with the 2" nozzle that does screw onto the valve.

What I did was, cut the the spout piece flush, I bought some 2" silicone tubing, got it at Allied in south, and connect it to nozzle and a piece of PVC pipe and made up the rest of there.

I end up using a coupling that clamps on and add the reducer

Nice project you have there

What sizes do they come in? Anyone ever tried using one of those to make a red neck hot tub? Was thinking about it

Na..........

It is an experiment, the real thing coming later next year.

Right now the weather and work keeping me back.

All material bought, shipped and delivered.

I tried tomatoes but failed, will attempt sometime next year once I understand the mode of failure.
