you know i doh understand why they doh create an app on your phone to do contact tracing. both google and apple provided the template to do it (if u go into your phone settings u will see a covid exposure setting). this could provide a lot of ppl with a notification and have them quarantine -this is especially needed in public areas with hidden contacts

Anything over 600+ is worrying. We are doomed. Also Couva Hospital hasn't given my family an update on my aunt in 48hrs. No contact whatsoever since and she's in the HDU unit and the last update was grim.

i would guess that initial parts of the wave are caused by limers, persons who outside a lot and the main part of the wave is from the average person whom the limers brought the virus home to, and these persons who may have been careful are now infecting others amongst their peers, who could be parents, children etc all fairly well behaved folks

if more ppl getting sick now it means cases not going to peak for another 2-3 weeks at least. even the extra beds still going to full up - really we would just be buying time before collapse

but where this surge from? las lap for kfc?

Y'all over analysing it, it's amongst everyone. And the spread is 90% indoor. Most cases are persons working.

I had to tell a few people well to cover their noses INSIDE the grocery.

I had to tell one lady to go back and sanitize / wash her hands after she just picked up a trolley and strolled right into the grocery.

Yup, many businesses are not being vigilant in ensuring customers follow protocol that goes for employees as well. There's a general "doh give a dam, if I hadda ded I go ded" mentality. A lack of general responsibility and caring and this is at the individual level.
