2019 exam for Survey Interviewer I

Yh folks so I see Service Commissions Department started the process for a new intake of Survey Interviewers. I have a few questions about this because I cant even recall applying for the job but have received my candidate letter for the exam.

The exam is carded for Wednesday October 9th and my examination centre is Old fire Station Building Port of Spain. Not sure if there are any more centres because I live Sangre Grande yet have to do the exam in Port of Spain and to boot Old fire Station building is quite small for an examination centre.

So here are a few question to begin with
1. Which ministry governs these Survey Interviewer I??
2. Anyone knows the current salary of even where they stand on the public service salary scale?
3. They stated on the letter that the Map Interpretation is by itself an entire section of the exam. Where can information on this be found related to local survey interviewing?

This position is within the Central Statistical Office (cso).

They are the persons who go out on the field to collect information.

Thanks buddy this position is extremly hard to get any kind of information on and the phone lines keep saying no operator available so id just go down to the office on independence square to get further info. They expect us to have knowledge of map reading etc for the exam but getting info on those areas is a task by itself
