If you have confidence in a stock and the price drop think of it as being on sale !

Republic EPS $5.54 down from $9.73 last year

PE is now over 25 (watch out below??)

Final dividend $2.10 down from $3.25

Is this enough to cover NIF bond payments??

WCO looking like a buy at ~$33.50
Scotia for dividends.
Massy might be stable
Things looking bleak otherwise in the short term

For the period ended 30 September 2020, the cash and cash equivalents on the balance sheet is $210 million and they need $112 million for the dividend payment in Feb 2021 so even if RBL paid no final dividend they have enough cash to pay it.

Financial Statements for the period ended 30 September 2020

Anything looking good on the TTSE these days? I'm seeing prices dropping. Any bargains for a one year timeframe?

What's the most amount you've made on the local stock market and how long did you take to realize that profit?

Strong balance sheet.
Also is a component of many indices, therefore index funds and etfs buy it.

When sentiment turns the stock will do well.

At the money Sept 2022 calls are about 35.

So one can pick up great exposure in an aggressive position on blue chip stocks.

Microsoft is an excellent stock but there are better options available. The US market performed like a serious bull today it’s unbelievable.

US stock market is a thing of beauty.

Really nice ...I would add 52 week highs and lows to give more useful perspectives.

Well done.

Same thing I saying.

I was watching Massy's stock just climbing for no logical reason on the surface - other than they made some money during covid but that is not what is driving their price up.

Not in the caribbean. Dividend is king! Price only went up due to cross-listing.

Pandemic is a good time to stock up (no pun intended) at low prices and wait for growth over the next 2 years

Also we are have Jamiacan cross listed shares and shares based on world commodity prices (like NGL) and shares with exposure outside Trinidad (like Massy) which will insulate against the Trinidad economy and a possible devaluation

I believe the best buy right now is Agostini's.

Good P.E. and dividend currently but also expanding rapidly- Into the medical AND energy support fields and others. Also has tie-ins with Vemco.

Usually its a very illiquid, but now there's some shares on offer due to the pandemic.

Do your research and come to your own conclusions though!

Yeah, I did well myself with JMMB, NCBFG and GK.
I'm out of Jamaica stocks for now. MIght be a bubble there with diminished economic activity.

AGOS is a long term hold. Should hit 50 in two years.
