Been using some recommendations from FCB and day have given some shares a buy including GKC and Massy which resulted in good gains

Yeah, I stop taking on Bourse. Every facting thing neutral.

Check out JMMB's analyses, often very informative and with realistic price targets.
https://tt.jmmb.com/company-insights

Where do you get FCB's recommendations?

Fully agree. I do not use them at all for anything especially since they were involved with insider trading with the FCB IPO.

Who knows knows.

Well said bluefete.

Properly organized robbery.
By people with zero integrity.

Bourse should have been sanctioned....
Ramkelewan should have lost his brokers license and debarred, disallowed from being an officer in any co.

Same as Imtiaz.

And all profits disgorged.

Some jail time as well.

The IPO was underpriced.
Self underwriten and self dealt.
A govt owned BANK neck deep in questions about it's officers dealing.

Everybody knew.

I thought it was 4 to 1.

I would speculate here, and Im happy to be corrected.

The CIF has a fixed maturity value-(if I remember correctly) -there fore the price movement of the RBL would require more of the fixed price units to match the value of the rbl share.

Negative, the trust deed says on redemption date the RBL shares and any other asset (gortt bonds) will be distributed to cif shareholders "in specie", that is to say equally and as is.....so 40 million odd rbl divided by 204 million odd cif shares will give you a ratio of .19 rbl shares per 1 cif share or 5cif to 1rbl ( shares will be rounded down to prevent an absurd result).....the flexible factor will be the bonds also held in the fund which will have 10 more years to go, so the disposal price of those will depend on market conditions at that time but again will be redistributed to shareholders.....this is the reason cif is trading close or even above its NAV at this time.

For anyone wondering why the complex / vague nature of this redemption rules it is because it was then envisioned that more RBL shares may have been added to the fund over time.

Man, this market hot right now. I dunno nah.

WCO ($28.5) looks good for a 10% this year (inclusive of dividends)
NGL ($20) looks ripe for a short term flip close to earnings.
JMMB ($2.30) is good med-long term

A very dark horse is UCL ($16)... something's up there. I dunno what yet. I taking a chook.

disclaimer- I'm not a pro.

Still always be on the look out for deals

NGL with dividends announcement due in March

Massy with the split and the cross listing

These 2 might be an opportunity for some short term gains

I personally have no issue with making money due to price manipulation by other investors

As a matter of fact I will be quite offended if I did not lol

Yes snap up some dividend coming in March it will be nice and share will spike

I have a spreadsheet showing the average price I paid for each share I own and the total profit I made

I did quite good last year

Only increase I did not benefit from was AGL

I bought but sold too soon

These are indeed good signs for NGL short term but remember there are other factors you must be wary of
Not least the actual feedstock...both volume and quality, such as drier gas feedstock...Remember when NGL was pushing 30$ 1.50 dividends, talk of usd dollar distributions and dragon field gas feedstock stock price was ripe for drastic increase then all fell apart and covid hit price tanked to 14$.....for me energy sector is to volatile now, but there may be gains to be made in the short term if you take the risks.

Earnings per share for nine months for 2020 to 2021 moved from 0.19 to 0.87

Its obvious that the earnings for the year will be much higher than the 0.04 per share declared for the entire 2020

Therefore it's not a bad assumption that the dividend will be much higher

Also news came out today of an acquisition

It's gonna be a nice increase in both share price and dividend

Get in now do not miss out on a nice short term gain

Not seeing much risk .Price of share will definitely not go down

Mount Belvieu price in 2021 was also way higher than the price in 2020. This was one of the main reasons quoted for the drop in eps in 2020

AGL - I expected this to reach $45 next year, not THIS MONTH.
I sold out for ~60% gainzzz.
Fair price is around $35 me thinks. Earnings coming up in a couple weeks. We'll see.

SBTT over $70?? Also sold out for 25%. Fair price is closer to $65.

WCO looks to be a screaming buy at $27.50.

Fair warning- I'm often completely wrong about these things!

Nah not always. NgL was 34/ 35 when I sold. Bought back at 15

Based on NGL chart - highest closing price for NGL was 30.43 on 1st Apr 2021 so I doubt intra-day someone would have bought at 34-35.

Probably right I know I sold over 30

Point I was making that the statement all the big money is in waiting is not always true

I believe you have to follow the news and try to understand the market and there is nothing wrong if you make alot of money and bail out. You can always buy the dip

I agree.
However, with the TT market, a stock can be in the doldrums for YEARS then suddenly spring to life. Massy, NCBFG, JMMB etc.
JMMB was trading under 50c for years. Massy had been undervalued for decades.

So you gotta pay attention and trade when the opportunity arises. I lost out big a couple times but i rather be safe and exit when things start to get iffy.

I see NGL starting to get some attention of late. And #Natgas prices soaring

NGL should pay out at least $1.00 in dividends over the next few months - yr end and 6 month combined.

And you now how trini traders does go crazy for dividends.
NGL $23-25 soon come.

I have a lil trade idea brewing. Will do some research and bounce it off soon.
