practically every country in d world china does big business with so i guess its a lil token of appreciation from them , its quite generous though

I think the bikes are assigned to cops, so the same cop usually rides the same bike at least from the cops I know offhand.
TBH it's not an easy job to be a motobike cop, they obviously like that kinda thing.

No, motorbike cops are not used for citizen response afaik

Those bikes look like racing bikes, seated leaning forward

Rowlee saying they don't use bikes at night
Like he don't know the union is against night use of motorbikes.

They will probably last a year and the parts will fall off as with most Chinese made bikes

Actually he might be the only person pleased.
All yamaha parts, tune up and replacement for the previous fleet were bought from him exclusively... don't see that changing in a hurry.

The concerning question as rightfully asked is how much of our soul was sold for this 'gift'

Bikes looking good - front mounted cameras and helmet mics are good features once they can use and maintain them properly.

Is how the officer say they cyar chase down any speeders because of the "motor" on the bikes, yet they will be using some of them as part of the highway patrol. At least they could co-ordinate a trap using the radios...:|

Chances are that those bikes will be used to escort Ministers up and down the highway. Does the police service even have that many officers licensed to ride?
