Rowley admitted in today's press conference that he wrote a letter a year ago to the Police Service Commission that he had lost confidence in Gary Griffith as Commissioner Of Police.

I say it good for Gary because he has never taken any steps to charge the big boys in Office.

With the separation of power principle, the COP does not need the endorsement of the sitting PM to hold office.
In any country which follows the above priniciple, an independent authority determines who and under what circumstances anyone can sit in such office.
Reality however suggest that holders of office such as the COP cannot survive without the support and endorsement of the body that controls the funds and hold legislative power.
One must wonder if the initial appointment of Mr Gary Griffith was about some other agenda item which his office was expected to accomplish.
At the end of the day playing Russian Roulett with domestic national security is the game of fools.

Oh my poor sweet chile. They are all friends. Don't be fooled. Why didn't he buss files about the children holding guns on the army base?

Ask Forris why he try to put back GG there to do what exactly? Ask him if it may have to do with using Gary to go after somebody in the party who can challenge him for PL when Rowls retire.

Pay attention to Ferris closely and all that he did in the lead up to this.

Remember GG was a politician before CoP, I think many forget this. Like any politician he had a way with words to sway the masses

Please be advised that I, Widdy P huck, have lost all confidence in the Prime Minister and Government of Trinidad and Tobago. He and his Government have mismanaged the economy, the health care and infrastructure, amongst other things within our country. His AG has been busy changing our laws to be passed/enacted by simple majorities in parliament to benefit their agenda. His Finance Minister has been stifling the small businesses by preventing them access to foreign currency. He has also been pressuring the citizens with exorbitant taxes and increased cost of living. His other Ministers are abject failures in the handling of their respective ministries and attitude towards most of the citizens.

He sent in that letter a year ago. At that time, Rowley got pushback from Griffith publicly with respect to police arresting persons on private property with Covid19 regulations in effect. Griffith stood by his decision and only apologized for the way he said it.

Griffith said that it came out from a point of passion but it shake Rowley cage as he saw it as disrespect, so i'm guessing he run and complain about it like a schoolchild telling miss.

well it seems the public ponging that certain 1% weddings with hundreds of guests during full lockdown may have cost gg his job
even though he never did bust a wedding
only sealots parties
or maybe rowlee was not happy sealots parties were getting busted

He said it happened last year around this time the loss of confidence occurred it have to be something bigger than that to make u write off a person in that regard

who say its another distraction from some bigger action. is something being sold under our nose? is some law being passed in front our face? all of a sudden the president and PM and everyone have panties in a bunch over GG and COP? Strange in my book. just saying could be a distraction as with so much other things in TT. Is the Africans from Africa who supposedly terrorist entering the country? expect a shocking revelation from some minister soon that we have to conform too.

She did confirm that she received the Order of Merit List but it was "withdrawn almost immediately thereafter" that same day.

That opens up a lot of questions...

it is quite plausible that he was heading the merit list and the firearms bobol was being fully engaged and hence the merit list was recommended to be be halted.

the mere fact that she mentions the firearms bobol shows it reach her level even though it shouldn’t concern her from an investigation point

But my .02c: That display with Rowley last year regarding Bayside and Sea Lots did not do his cause much good. Moreso, he publicly chided the PM as one who should know better.
