Truck Spills Water Bottles Across Both Lanes Of Uriah Butler Causing Major Traffic Backup, Deaths

There is a major traffic backup on both Northbound and Southbound lanes of the Uriah Butler Highway in the vicinity of Charlieville due to a truck that has spilt hundreds of water bottles across both lanes. It appears that the truck also hit a PTSC bus. Find alternative routes.

Two confirmed dead in water truck accident, several others injured

CNC3 - Fire officials have confirmed two women are dead following an accident near Charlieville along the Uriah Butler Highway.

Chief Fire Officer Roosevelt Bruce confirmed two people died in the accident, while one person is listed in critical condition.

The delivery truck was proceeding along the south-bound lane of the highway when the driver lost control and crossed the median, according to reports.

A PTSC travelling in the opposite direction was hit by the truck, resulting in injuries to several passengers.

Police have blocked off part of the north-bound lane of the highway to facilitate the clearing of the roadway resulting in gridlock for motorists.

HAd the TRUCK in question been in the LEFT MOST lane and travelling at his LEGAL Limited 50Kmph would this have happened regardless of the tyre blot that hit him?

ok to clarify.... the truck (red) was on the left of the blue waters truck...his tyre blew out and that caused it to hit the blue waters truck which then careened onto the embankment/opposite lane..."it' being the truck...not the tyre...i'm sure theres video coverage of that somewhere that someone will find and post...

but to answer your question....i cant tell IF he was traveling at 50 kph Mr Spann. But im sure, you being of sound internet knowledge and mind.. can ascertain when the police report comes out if it was....as that is al lyou seem to do.....ascertain.
