Bmobile security

Postby redmanjp » September 29th, 2018, 3:52 pm

We are having a problem with the battery in the Keyfob being low and the console is constantly beeping due to this. Now in the past Bmobile has replaced batteries for the sensors by the doors. Now they are saying that we have to replace the keyfob battery ourselves. I was wondering if since it's their equipment shouldn't they also replace the keyfob battery as was done with the sensors ?

Anyone with Bmobile security had to do that?

Based on the fact that the beeping is annoying and battery change is a quick DIY I would change it myself. The sensors are different because any tampering records as an alert

Sounds like when ppl expect landlords to replace light bulbs. I'm with Joe though, too easy a problem to solve for it to be a problem.

I have been using this system for years. The keyfob battery replacement is done by the Bmobile agent. They are responsible for all equipment and repairs.
U should call 824tstt and they would advise where u can go to get the keyfob replaced. I had both keyfobs replaced approx 4 months ago.

U replaced the keyfobs themselves or the batteries?

The entire keyfob they replaced. The sensors, the key fob, the motion sensors and the alarm panel are all their equipment and they are responsible for all mtce on it.
Yes I know the battery is simple to change but it's part of the sign up agreement with Bmobile.

It's easy just call the number they scheduled a day with you and will replace the keyfob and test the entire system before they leave
