Entry Requirements for Information technology UWI

Hey, can anybody confirm that you only need 2 CAPE subjects (Science, Economics or Accounting) to do Information technology undergrad at UWI?
This is the information that was given to me. The person said the number O'levels doesn't matter. So I said if I only have 2 O'levels would I still be able to do this course, and they replied yes as long as you have the 2 CAPE subjects.

If you need 2 CAPE subjects to do IT, then don't waste your time yes. I rather do comp sci.

Might have to do computer science myself. I wanted to do IT because I didn't want to do CAPE.

You can't do Computer Science without A level math, CS requires massive amounts of math knowledge.

Also why do they require A levels to do IT in UWI? what about other IT certs and or advanced diplomas etc?

Any recommendations you can give, for the advanced diploma for IT? What other Universities online that I can do it? I don't understand why they want A' Levels.
