Need some advice for a good pre-emergent herbicide.

I just applied some top soil on my zoysia lawn to fill in some holes and pits. What is a good pre-emergent herbicide I can use that won't damage the grass? Is Prowl suitable?

Prowl will work fine. Make sure the soil is damp before applying.

Guys I now want to start. Who sells the Savannah and zoysia grass the cheapest? Do you need a topsoil or you can just clear weeds ang dig holes? What fertilizer or chemicals you need and how long it takes to catch? I have four areas to do. Two in the West on flat land and two on hilly land in the east

Fellas. I just put down some blue metal stone in an area but the grass keeps passing through and growing up still. Any advice on what product to spray to kill the weeds but don't kill surrounding plants?

You're suppose to put down a weed mat or weed block before putting that bluestone

Check out "zibo" and see if it would suit your purposes

You have a few choices. These all work differently. If you spray, use a coarse spray from a short distance.

Glyphosate (Round-Up, Swiper)
Glufosinate-ammonium (Zibo)
DCMU (Diuron)
MSMA (Drexar)
Paraquat (Gramoxone)
Atrazine - more selective; won't harm St. Augustine Grass

Allied Hardware in Cross Crossing had bags of smooth white decorative stones - different from the ones you get from National Quarries

Bro go down Moruga with a pickup, a few spades and some padnas and dig out savannah grass for free.... Mark out 12 inch squares with the spade and shovel out in small mats....

Where were you last September/October when I had over 200sf of Zoysia grass that I gave away? Did some yard work and had to remove some grass.

Paraquat! If you absolutely have to.

If you were to do a little research, you would find that studies indicate that the observed elevated risk of cancer, specifically non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, has consistently been equal to or higher when using paraquat as compared to the worst results ever published for glyphosate. And of course there is the heightened risk of paraquat contact poisoning.
