Apparently he just mimes while it plays on the track by the DJ, pretty much just pretending to play the track but eh playing one ass, basically blatant piracy.

A forensic musicologist did a audio waveform analysis and they are 95% certain the Trini guy just passes off other people work as his own, but what the Trini guy does is he plays a version of his at a lower volume that cannot really be heard or something so that it can't be 100% matched.

"Chaitoo appeared to be playing his violin at a lower volume underneath Price’s recordings."

This is according to Vince Lee, a former associate conductor for the Indianapolis Symphony

So what you hearing is not the work of Chaitoo but the work of Price's recordings even though Chaitoo is indeed playing his violin.

Well what he posted is the work of someone else, you cannot actually hear the Trini's violin. He is playing something, some tune at a lower volume under the recording that we can't actually hear. So even though he playing something it is at a volume low enough that you can't hear it, so what you hear is not his work but the work of other people.

This is according to the forensics, in their own words they are 95% sure he not playing anything that we are hearing.

Well anyone can tell that a violin doesn't have reverb live and he doesn't even use any visible type of vibrato, but it's still an instrumental cover of a pop song and besides, if he's 100% miming, he's using some sort of bow that doesn't really output as you'd hear at least some dissonance between himself and the track. Also, the harmony violin, probably plays it with his feet lol.
