Two days ago, social media was stunned by two photos posted to Facebook which appears to show a live cattle in the back seat of a car turning off the Solomon Hochoy Highway.
The images capture the bovine from different angles. Both show the forlorn calf in the back seat looking out the rear windscreen. It is daytime. There is traffic all around the cow-transporting car which has one working brake light and a 200zx logo on the trunk.
There appears to be someone in the back seat with the animal.
The vehicle is last seen pulling onto the layby at the Preysal interchange so it is uncertain whether the vehicles headed towards Couva or Gran Couva.
Many on social media have debated whether this really happened.
“The drive was just pulling bull” wrote one.
