WTK: Scrap Iron Places

Postby Ronaldo95163 » June 26th, 2017, 3:45 pm

Have some engine blocks(4G13 & 5AFE) and an old transmission I wanna get rid of.
Is there anywhere I can carry them as scrap metal that would pay me for the weight?

Anyone has an idea how much I would get for them? If its not worth it i would just throw them in the river or smtin.

Abt 300 as is. To be weighed they must be separated by the respective metals. There is a place in chaguanas....Can't remember the name.

Hmmm Any idea how much I could get if I separate them by metals?
Would they also take the transmission???

It's the CVT from the 4G18...belt inside it burst...no longer own the car either.

Hi, regarding your sale of scrap metal query, did you get a reliable place to sell the scrap metal? I am looking to sell some as well but want a good price for my stuff. Can you recommend any place to try?

Thanks

Yeah they take batteries and the non steel meals.
The prices are pretty much same everywhere.

There is a guy on the hunting fb site who takes batteries to make sinkers.

Those battery prices OK with me .. since I think YOU have to pay a disposal fee @ some battery dealers .

Some are not interested in disposal and I take them home and use as a paper weight :x

Does anyone know where I can buy scrap steel plate?

I only need about 18"x18" and 1/8" (min) to 1/2" (max) in thickness.
