nowhere locally, thats for sure.

but to treat what condition? malignant tumor? epilepsy?pain management? I only ask because there may be alternatives to cannabis oil that you can get/make locally with less legal hassle.

AFAIK it is considered weed by customs-and will be confiscated.

We were looking at it for Dads Dementia.

Minister: Nothing in law to allow ganja cultivation
Saturday, May 7 2016

HEALTH Minister Terrence Deyalsingh said cannabis sativa, commonly known as marijuana in Trinidad and Tobago, could only be imported as an oil for research purposes only .

There have been calls for the herb by several sectors of society to legalise the use of marijuana .

Deyalsingh said the Dangerous Drugs Act gives the Minister of Health the authority to do things as far as Cannabis is concerned .

Permission to import and cultivate .

However, the Act gives the minister authority based on the attended regulations to the Act. “The regulations support the dangerous drugs act which gives the minister the authority to allow the importation of medical marijuana. There were two occasions where the minister did grant permission for the importation of medical marijuana to CAREC and the University of the West Indies, St Augustine, for research purposes .

“The regulations that support the act allows for that. However, there are no regulations to support the part of the act for cultivation, so the minister of the day cannot issue any licence for permit for cultivation,” Deyalsingh said during a weekly news conference at the Health Ministry’s head office, Park Street, Portof- Spain, yesterday. He said one must apply to the ministry for a licence to import the oil for research purposes .

“You can import the cannabis oil, not the herb,” Deyalsingh said .

Thank everyone for the responses so far. I know it is prohibited but if it is the only hope for a terminally ill love one then I'm left with little choice.

Cannabis oil is a miracle oil, u can cure parkinsons disease (trembling/violent nerve shaking) and plenty other sicknesses, can even delay cancer cells (may/may not cure 100% but can keep u alive & rallying better than chemotherapy side effects.) If that ever become big here & used correctly by the right hands, the gov't/doctors wont make no $$$, dem not schupid, dem know exactly what can happen.

THIS.

That is why Rowley and Co will never make a move to legalize it. They would prefer people to suffer and take Big Pharma medicine that they know does not work.

Any luck in finding the cannabis oil?
All I'm finding is the hemp oil which I don't think is equivalent...
Might have to find a way to make it yourself instead...

Explain Michael J. Fox.
Seems to have done a lot more for him in treating his Parkinson's than I've seen most prescription meds capable of doing.

lol compare these possible side effects in 7%

. Even so, a review of clinical trials involving cannabinoids showed that nearly seven percent of participants discontinued them due to issues such as nausea, dizziness, weakness, mood and behavioral changes, hallucinations and impairment of cognitive (memory/thinking) abilities. Of particular concern are potential influences on cognition, motivation and balance --

to regular possible side effects of drugs for parkinsons

i hope they can really find a cure for cancer in the near future....
spent a lot of time with a relative who was in his end stages, its really heart breaking

the palliative care unit at caura hospital is really amazing for families who can't cope with the day to day stress of a end stage cancer patient.

Once any gov't figures out a way to TAX it and make millions, then and only then will it be legalized.

I know someone who purchased an ounce of Marijuana and used a black and decker rice cooker, together with 99% pure Methylated spirits (available at seumeds) and did a decoction. The person's mother was ill, cancer, after making the oil, it was just too concentrated, so administering useful dosages were too difficult and the person tossed it. For dementia cases, that might actually be of benefit, so, do what you will with that info, if you get caught, it's unlikely a judge will give you jail time, all things considered... Good luck, buddy, do what you have to for your relative, Cus the govt don't give a sheit.

Why isn't Ganja legal in 2018 given all the scientific data we have on it curing so many illness?
