WTK: Anybody buy the powerbuilt compressor from pricesmart?

Postby Closeout Deals » June 12th, 2017, 7:02 pm

Just want to know if anyone bought the 10gallon oilfree powerbuilt air compressor from Pricesmart. I want to get some reviews especially in terms of compressor noise. Plan to use it inside the house, but don't want neighbours to complain.

My brother has a power built oil free and it's noisy. Best to build an enclosure for it

Anyone have experience with the cordless power drill of the same brand? Thinking about getting the one at price mart.

They are very loud, as are most compressors. Oil less are even more so.
if noise is a concern, look at something else. Enclosure not practical as it needs to cool.

Anyone have experience with the 3000 psi power washer of the same brand? Thinking about getting the one at price mart.

mechanic has the compressor and yes it noisy but it works well and gets the job done.
the cordless drill is a waste of money if you not planning to use it for very light work, backing out screws and using in soft wood/pvc

I have the 10gal from pricesmart , in my experience I've heard compressors with varied brands and this particular one isn't that noisy , works perfect compressor cuts off exactly 125psi and cuts back in at approx. 95psi .

Hope that helps

Anyone have experience with the 3000 psi power washer at PriceSmart ? Thinking about getting the one at Price Mart. It is $2900 .. Is it a cheap quality ? Hadden sells from $5,000 up to $15,000.

Some of the equipment they have are actually marked not for commercial use, hence the low prices. You may get away by buying same if it is sized for what you want to do.

The cordless drill was looking a bit shakey when I bought one. As I got used to it, it is working out.

The equipment at Hadden may very well be heavy duty, industrial type ...............

20 gallon and up for home use, i could barely get by with my 20 gallon setup, so noisy that i hardly ever use it which makes no sense.
