Cisco released a controller and approved topology for DC, Campus and WAN.
The topologies are:
ACI –DC Fabric
SDA – Campus Fabric
IWAN – WAN Fabric
The SDA Campus Fabric will be based on IS-IS as routing protocol and LISP as a control plane. All of this will eliminate STP/RSTP and the Access switches will become L3 to the Distribution or Collapse Core switches.
