The Russian Supreme Court formally banned Jehovah's Witnesses on Thursday, labeling the group an extremist organization. The religious group in Russia will now be forced to dissolve.

The decision equates Russia's 175,000 Jehovah's Witnesses to terrorist groups like the Islamic State, and makes it illegal for congregations to meet or distribute literature.

The court refused the group's earlier appeals to recognize the organization as victims of political repression, and declined to hear testimony from witnesses who claimed that the Russian police have falsified evidence against regional religious groups.

Believe it or not it not always possible to get flowers home or there may not be enough .........

Fruits etc is supposed to feed the creatures and such. Non bio degradeable materials are for a garbage bag to be taken home and dispose of properly.

Jehovah's Witnesses are the most peaceable non-political religious organization in the world. How can they ever be viewed akin to an extremist organization or a cult?

This is simply the doing of Russia's Orthodox Church. If they should ban any religion, it should be Roman Catholicism. That religion has ruined lives, protect its molesters and killed in the name of religion/politics.

I don't mind if people ask for some flowers eh - take what yuh want, it have plenty. But it's the boldfaced attitude that some of them have that is annoying...just pull up with their bags and start picking, reaching over the fence and thing. Everybody has problems with other people, and feel their way is always right. Muslims complain about Hindus leaving their stuff around, but have no problem waking the whole neighborhood in the morning. Rastafarian complaining about nasty Hindus but not studying their unsanitary hair. Jehovah's witnesses are a problem, but the unscrupulous pastors who fleece their flock is not a problem. It's always the other person's sin that is wrong, never your own.
