Machel Mafia and Road March 2017

Every year around this time (usually starting from Carnival Wednesday / Thursday) the Machel Mafia goes into overdrive and selects one song that will be played ad nauseam on the majority of stations so that the masses can be fooled into making it the Road March for that year.

This year is no different as the Machel Mafia has decreed that "Beat It" should be the 2017 Road March. I saw a cable channel run this video 3 times in a row on Wednesday.

But I am hearing strong push-back from the ground that there can only be ONE true Road March in 2017 - Maximus Prime and the Ultimate Rejects - We Jamming Still.

It seems that this year the people will broach no dictatorship from the Machel Mafia.

The next few days will be most interesting.

lol at jus comes talking about "speed" when it comes to road marches, clearly new gen "seasoned" masqueraders, FE has grabbed people and hasn't let go, there was a time not long ago when a 110bpm song was considered super fast now ppl want 128-130bpm songs, yet in fetes it's the "groovy" songs that have lasting power and reaction, ppl have been spoon fed hype so long that they dunno anything else. I expect a cut ass for machel
