whatever happened to George doubles from french street, the fatman who used to sell by broklyn bar and george-ex from by the car wash all from woodbrook? I return after some years and no george on french st ( the boss george himself), the fatman (he son) by broklyn bar gone and replaced by 2 spanish woman selling doubles now and it tasting like sheit, and gorge ex no where to be seen. Anyone from the woodbrook area know what happened to them?

son runs the daily by the bar but have spanish working for him

the father is there on weekends

they only attract a handful if so much at any point in time............
the days of the exwife with a big crowd blocking the pavement are over years now

i agree, they are/were one of the worst and I think they use a fully subcontracted product so real hit and miss

they were only popular for "town" folks who don't know better and wanted to be seen eating a doubles on the pavement by a bar early in the morning

The skinny one is chatterbox, he sells in pos in the morning and selling in the evening by the aranguez savannah. if you look for his orange van with the chatterbox sign and arrow pointing to his stall. the dragon or volcano pepper sauce he has is good. with no pepper it taste like he cook that channa in drain water.

No boy...I've read some reports from health wrs to the cooking environment for most roadside vendors in p.o.s....you'd definitely consider buying

I know a health inspector who says this same thing,about them and also A major fry chicken outlet on ind. Sq and most of the Chinese restaurants around. Rats, roaches and generally very unhygienic situations.

the regional corporation stopped all vending around the Savannah so he is selling in someones yard close by so he parks his orange pickup around the Savannah where he used to sell and in the tray has a billboard standing pointing to the new site.

The best doubles I ever tasted is by the guyanese woman at Maritime roundabout, who sells from midday. The bara fried properly, the channa curried good and the pepper real hot and tasty. Not the regular one Who is there from morning.
