Imo have nothing like "stance" rims. Stance supposed to be the spread look. Wheels off cambered for the vehicle to be as low as possible. Alot of people just throwing on some deep dish wheels and stretched tires and calling their car" stanced". Again just my opinion

you need to go RaceTrac wheels in Arouca and get yourself some RT 8 inchers and slap that sheit on a Tiida and you will know what stance is. Make sure and wrap dem ting in Sailun tyres too.

Stance is a look...not a type of rim

"Stance" usually requires wide rims (sometimes accompanied with-ve camber) to accomplish the look, but that all depends on the type of vehicle also...someone could slap some 8 inch on a tiida and call that stance but drop those same 8 inch and a car with a wider wheel well like a skyline...nothing aint gonna look stance there

dais my opinion op

Any rim with a long, colourful wheel nuts that pointy and could chook your shin. A usual test to know if you have stance rims:
Asking a padna how the looking followed by him saying: "eet hard".

Is this some kind of foreplay banter? It sounds as though there is a subtext that goes beyond the description of the wheel.

lol @ eet hard

On the issue of those stretched tyres... were they manufactured to be used in that manner, is it safe for daily driving given our road conditions etc?

The increasingly-popular trend of ‘stretching’ (fitting narrow tyres to a wide wheel rim for aesthetic purposes) has introduced a safety conundrum and legal confusion. Tyre manufacturers have commented that they are not in favour of the practice, because excessive stretching places the sidewall under extra stress, which is not considered as part of the tyre’s design. The British Tyre Manufacturers’ Association concurs and adds that, in such cases, there is a serious risk of the tyre being dislodged from the rim under sudden cornering forces. Therefore, it is reasonable to conclude that over-stretched tyres are unsafe.

essentially the sidewall is more at risk and it wears on the edges. personally i find stretched tyres look stupid. kinda like those big wheel tricycles.

That tyre on the black rim seems unsafe.

Have a lancer I saw around south a few times. Lowered, rims sticking out from under the car quite a bit and sticking out from the tyre by more than an inch.
Looks so dumb. I wonder if he knows how stupid he looks.

Apparently all dish rim is "stance rim" now.
