I'm from central... but thanks for the info though... I'll keep it for future reference....I actually went today by bobby's in the bamboo and had it done for $75.00. They used a resin and an activator.... don't know if what these places sell is the same thing... I'm leaving it here for future reference... I don't think if i bought the "glue" it might hold like this... i'm waiting until tomorrow to make sure it doesn't fall off... they told me to come back if it did... took two to five minutes to put on and an hour (without touching) to dry... I drove off after the five minutes... it hasn't fallen off yet! (fingers crossed)

Don't use krazy or gorilla glue.

The resin + activator is the way to go. The package comes with 2 separate syringes. Wear disposable gloves and have something like those wooden tongue depressors ready to stir as you don't have time to waste.

I'd also suggest using a disposable paper plate instead of the actual plastic package it comes in with a little rectangular area.

He already got it sorted out but the adhesive from 3m works like a charm. Small dab of glue on the metal plate and the activator has a felt tip that you rub into place on the glass.

Bass use to break mines anytime I raise the volume, haven't had a problem since using the 3m even with windscreen flex.

How has it worked out so far? I want to go Bobby's today to have my rearview mirror glued back on

That's good. Went by Bobby's and stuck mine on a few hours ago. Same price and instructions that they gave you

Good day I know this is an old post I am bumping, but my mirror fell off and the metal piece broke off a little piece of glass from the windshield itself. Will this method still work for my repair?

Just go by a windscreen shop and they’ll use the right glue for small money or none at all if they cool with you.
