They're up to Episode 3...seems to be an improvement on Season 1. Some annoying bits have gone, there's more car stuff and their old chemistry seems to be eking its way back into the show.

Hope it keeps on the up and up.

Could imagine the price of it under current tax scheme.

There’s a 2 liter turbo option. If it came that’s probably what we’d get

you're really beginning to see the difference in Amazon budget VS old Top Gear BBC budget.

Y'all think so? I was watching to see if it's up to par or better. My untrained eyes don't really see much difference tbh

Use of ultra slow motion makes it better? Increases in technology will always make production appear better.

Of course, bigger budget pays for better technology so you have a point there.

BBC could have gotten away with alot of stuff footage/financial wise, Amazon seems to be taking the safe route

That I agree with. BBC could have taken more risks.

The Audi vs Lancia Segment on episode 7 is the best of the season so far IMO

Just finished Unscripted. Season 2 is better than season 1 so far.

The BBC has a blanket agreement with PRS with respect to utilizing music and audio throughout the show.

The music in Top Gear is far superior to TGT.

Finished viewing Season 2 of the GT. Really, that Mozambique special in the end was poor. And sorry writing. Couldn't they try to make the audience like them and the ridiculous ideas?
I miss Top Gear. They had the formula down and it was working so well. The theme music from the Allman Bros. was so good. And they even had Slash playing the song in one episode! Having a big budget from Amazon doesn't automatically make it comparable.

I watched some clips on YouTube from the TopGear channel of the old shows and it was way better writing and the guys worked well together on the screen. It wasn't forced. Chemistry and asinine stunts were great! Made me download a couple of specials and as soon as I put on the Burma special, the song brought back good feelings. Top Gear with the trio was BBC Legendary TV, and we shall never have it again.

As I always maintained, the difference between the three stooges on bbc vs amazon is the show runners. So much of tg is scripted. Nothing is spontaneous. Same with gt. Difference is the writing. I lost interest in gt after the first three eps
