Only have to take that , to medal in consecutive Olympics is no small feat . Without that medal from a record 4 medals in the last Olympics in London to none here in Brazil . A big congratulations to a our true Olympian Keshorn Walcott

Well done Walcott, perhaps Trinidad can count itself 'lucky' to even get a medal... Distance separating 3rd and 4th was just under 2 inches? :o

While some might be disappointed in "only" a bronze, Keshorn has once again put T&T on an olympic podium.

Very proud of what he has done!

Congratulations to all of our local athletes for putting us on the map once again. Glad to see we could at least get a medal thanks to Keshorn seeing as the last Summer Olympics we obtained zero medals was quite back in 1992. Hoping I could live to see the day T&T breaks its highest ever medal count at a Summer Olympics (4 medals in 2012) .

What money hadda do with it. Jamaica doh have a red cent, they with the IMF twenty years now and 1US dollar is 126 Jamaican dollars yet they are churning out champions by the year. With a little vision and help from corporate TT we could go far.

Well the vision is to have 10 gold medals by 2024. So sayeth Brian Lewis - President - TTOC.

Corporate TT?? Really?? They are a bunch of 'bandwaggonists'. Yuh eh know we inna 'recession' or what?

We also have an elite athlete funding programme. That needs to be overhauled.

What programmes do we have in place for up and coming athletes?

My money is on Shannatol Ince to medal in the Paraolympics.

Yuh woulda think it make more sense for the men's football final to be the event to close the games (apart from the marathon) rather than the men's basketball final eh...
