Why do we need a commission to appoint it?
WHy not make it that ANY senior police officer, who has a given record, no blemishes, and has been in service for a while, has to be appointed legally by the PM, Cabinet, Opp. Leader and President?
In other countries, the PM does appoint the Commissioner of Police, and there is no acting, it's just an officer of tenure who has a distinguished record.
