My big sister went Lakshmi girls and got a scholarship. Now she started her masters at Melbourne. Girls in PNM schools only studying taxi man, shenseea and who is baddist. Half of them can't even write a proper sentence. Only reason Trinidad's education hasn't gone through completely is because of SDMS schools.

Ruling today on PNM terrorism

https://www.guardian.co.tt/news/ruling- ... 368042811e.

What is amazing is Arse Wari is telling a Judge how to decide this case

The Attorney General’s Office called on Seepersad to reject the lawsuit as it claimed that it may lead to a mountain of litigation from persons attempting to avoid being prosecuted.

Guess Feris being consistent by losing again!!

High Court Judge Frank Seepersad has struck down elements of this country's colonial-age sedition legislation.

Delivering a 50 page judgement at the Hall of Justice in Port-of-Spain this morning, Justice Seepersad ruled that Sections 3 and 4 of the legislation, which prescribe the offence of sedition, are unconstitutional. Justice Seepersad ruled that the legislation is vague, uncertain and can lead to arbitrary application.

He also ruled that the legislation is not compatible with a sovereign democratic state as it limits constitutional rights to freedom of thought and expression and freedom of the press. The novel constitutional challenge was brought by former secretary-general of the Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha (SDMS), the late Satnarayan Maharaj, before his death in November, last year.

In the lawsuit, Maharaj's lawyers contended that the legislation—which was passed in 1920 and amended several times between 1961 and 1976—breached citizens' constitutional rights to freedom of thought and expression, freedom of the press and freedom of association and assembly.

LOLZ

To save face Johnny Seukeran for sure going to appeal... to get struck down again. If he goes all the way to Privy Council, they will buss his throat.

An appeal will only enrich whichever Attorney(s)/QC that receives that brief on behalf of the Govnt. The British repealed their Sedition Laws in 2009 and the Privy Council may very agree with Justice Seepersad.

I have to agree with zoom rader on this one. Fairy has no right telling a judge how to give his ruling.

He is out of place to tell a judge that while out of court.

The judge should have fined him to meddling out of court.

Since when has anything like shame, ethics, common sense and fiduciary duty affected Tight Shirt Arse-Wari from a good grand stand for the PNM dummy gallery? Then with his sour looking arse, he will inevitably say "well (morons) we tried!"

These boboleees usually send out a moron like one eye or Red Plastic Bag to bat for the team when they're under pressure. When they have something to "celebrate" like a highway, then all the pack is present

Appeals will shoot it down, they don't want to look like clowns when it reach the Privy council.
