Independent Liberal Party (ILP) political leader Jack Warner says he delivered audio files, photographs, locations and other information regarding allegations of misconduct by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar to the Integrity Commission in 2013.
Warner revealed this to the media today during a press conference at his ILP head office in Port-of-Spain.
As he played audio tapes for the public, Warner said the commission's only responses to him were a letter acknowledging receipt of the information, and a piece of correspondence one year later indicating that they were doing a vocal analysis on the audio tape.
After playing a tape, where an alleged whistle-blower spoke haltingly about collecting payment of $2 million for a house and a further $2.5 million, Warner said it was his responsibility to bring the evidence to the citizens of T&T.
"Everything you have heard here I took to the Integrity Commission two years ago. Not a soul was touched," Warner said.
He said he didn't go to the police because he thought they may have been compromised.
"Two years later, nothing has been done," he said.
