Postby nightcrawler » March 4th, 2016, 8:51 pm

Need a professional gypsum painter like yesterday. How do they charge? What painter is recommended?

Just use normal ceiling paint and a roller

Prime with gypsum primer (1 coat) and finish with 2 coats of paints based on your choice. As said above, use a roller for best results. Never heard of a professional gypsum painter.

Try painting 4000+ sq ft of ceiling with bulkheads and designs and crown moldings with a roller and brushes and you will want to know who is a professional ceiling painter too.

I have just had this done by a professional painter with a airless machine ,where he dips the inlet hose into a five gallon bucket of paint and sprays the ceiling perfectly,no roller lines no marks ,just perfect.

He did the whole building in two days, three coats in all. I'll post his number later.

He gets a lot of work from me,plus I let him use somestorage space for free,so he did not want to charge me. I gave him $2000 when I saw how good it came out. You can give him a call,Selwyn -678 9142
