That was a reallllly long tantrum. Not enough buzz words though. And with everything in CAPS can't really make out where to get outraged for this clearly innocent person.

Nah I doubt anything gonna serious happen. Of all the insane amount of crimes and treason Trump committed in Office, they charging him for using campaign donations to fund something hush about Stormy Daniels. Just take bail and case will never call.

Pretty much Trump will dead first and them everybody will say how they shudda cudda wudda on everything that they already have evidence for but the DOJ are either too afraid or corrupt to do anything.

Giddem Vivek!

Trump 2024 opponent Vivek Ramaswamy slams possible looming indictment: 'Dark moment in American history'

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy criticized rumors of President Trump's possible looming indictment on Saturday, calling it "un-American" to prosecute the former president.

"It is un-American for the ruling party to use police power to arrest its political rivals," the entrepreneur said on Twitter. "If a Republican prosecutor in 2004 had used a campaign finance technicality to arrest then-candidate John Kerry while Bush & Cheney were in power, liberals would have cried foul - and rightly so."

"This will mark a dark moment in American history and will undermine public trust in our electoral system itself," Ramaswamy continued. "I call on the Manhattan District Attorney to reconsider this action and to put aside partisan politics in service of preserving our Constitutional republic.

Joseph Tacopina, Trump’s criminal defense lawyer, confirmed to CNBC that Trump had been indicted after several media outlets reported the development.

The indictment, which will be prosecuted by the DA’s Alvin Bragg’s office, is the first in what could end up being several criminal cases against Trump, the leading contender for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

Donald Trump has been indicted by a Manhattan grand jury, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter – the first time in American history that a current or former president has faced criminal charges.

The indictment has been filed under seal and will be announced in the coming days. The charges are not publicly known at this time, one source told CNN.

The DA’s office has been investigating the former president in connection with his alleged role in a hush money payment scheme and cover-up involving adult film star Stormy Daniels that dates to the 2016 presidential election. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office will reach out to Trump’s attorneys to discuss his surrender to face an arraignment.
Manhattan grand jury votes to indict Trump, sources tell CNN
The decision is sure to send shockwaves across the country, pushing the American political system – which has never seen one of its ex-leaders confronted with criminal charges, let alone while running again for president – into uncharted waters.

Trump released a statement in response to the indictment claiming it was “Political Persecution and Election Interference at the highest level in history.”

“I believe this Witch-Hunt will backfire massively on Joe Biden,” the former president said. “The American people realize exactly what the Radical Left Democrats are doing here. Everyone can see it. So our Movement, and our Party – united and strong – will first defeat Alvin Bragg, and then we will defeat Joe Biden, and we are going to throw every last one of these Crooked Democrats out of office so we can MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Trump’s lawyer Alina Habba said in a statement that Trump “is a victim of a corrupt and distorted version of the American justice system and history. He will be vindicated.”

Trump was caught off guard by the grand jury’s decision to indict him, according to a person who spoke directly with him While the former president was bracing for an indictment last week, he began to believe news reports that a potential indictment was weeks – or more – away.

“Is this a shock today? Hell yes,” the person said, speaking on the condition of anonymity as Trump’s team calculated its response.

The legal action against Trump jolts the 2024 presidential campaign into a new phase – where the former president has vowed to keep running in the face of criminal charges.

Trump has frequently called the various investigations surrounding him a “witch hunt,” attempting to sway public opinion on them by casting himself as a victim of what he’s claimed are political probes led by Democratic prosecutors. As the indictment reportedly neared, Trump urged his supporters to protest his arrest, echoing his calls to action following the 2020 election as he tried to overturn his loss to President Joe Biden.

Trump has long avoided legal consequences in his personal, professional and political lives. He has settled a number of private civil lawsuits through the years and paid his way out of disputes concerning the Trump Organization, his namesake company. As president, he was twice impeached by the Democratic-led House, but avoided conviction by the Senate.

In December, the Trump Organization was convicted on multiple charges of tax fraud, though Trump himself was not charged in that case.

What to know about NY prosecutors' probe into Trump's role in hush money scheme
Trump’s Republican allies – as well as his 2024 GOP rivals – have condemned the Manhattan district attorney’s office over the looming indictment, and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has vowed to launch an investigation into the matter.

GOP rallies to Trump’s defense
Congressional Republicans quickly rallied to Trump’s defense, attacking Bragg on Twitter and accusing the district attorney of a political witch hunt.

“Outrageous,” tweeted House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan of Ohio, one of the Republican committee chairmen who has demanded Bragg testify before Congress about the Trump investigation.

Sen. Ted Cruz, a Texas Republican, called the indictment “completely unprecedented” and said it is “a catastrophic escalation in the weaponization of the justice system.”

But at least one moderate Republican told CNN he trusted the legal system.

“I believe in the rule of law. I think we have checks and balances and I trust the system,” said Rep. Don Bacon of Nebraska.

“We have a judge. We have jurors. There is appeals. So I think in the end, justice will be done. If he’s guilty it will show up. But if not, I think that will be shown too,” Bacon told CNN.

Investigation began under Cy Vance
Bragg’s office had signaled as recently as early March that they were close to bringing charges against Trump after they invited the ex-president to testify before the grand jury probing the hush money scheme. Potential defendants in New York are required by law to be notified and invited to appear before a grand jury weighing charges. But Trump ultimately declined to appear before the panel.

The long-running investigation first began under Bragg’s predecessor, Cy Vance, when Trump was in office. It relates to a $130,000 payment made by Trump’s then-personal attorney Michael Cohen to Daniels in late October 2016, days before the 2016 presidential election, to silence her from going public about an alleged affair with Trump a decade earlier. Trump has denied the affair.

The latest on Donald Trump's legal issues
At issue in the investigation is the payment made to Daniels and the Trump Organization’s reimbursement to Cohen.

According to court filings in Cohen’s own federal prosecution, Trump Organization executives authorized payments to him totaling $420,000 to cover his original $130,000 payment and tax liabilities and reward him with a bonus. The Trump Organization noted the reimbursements as a legal expense in its internal books. Trump has denied knowledge of the payment.

This story is breaking and will be updated.

Following the explosive news Thursday that a grand jury voted to indict former President Donald Trump in New York, Gov. Ron DeSantis said Florida wouldn’t cooperate with any potential extradition requests. Trump lives in Florida at Mar-a-Lago.

“The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head. It is un-American,” DeSantis wrote on Twitter.

“The Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney has consistently bent the law to downgrade felonies and to excuse criminal misconduct. Yet, now he is stretching the law to target a political opponent. Florida will not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue with this Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda.”

De Santis is not wrong about Alvin Bragg.
Statistically he doesn't like to prosecute and indirectly he was funded by Soros.

Finally, a posted article that is actually relevant.

Case is flimsy so let's see if he would actually make a jail which would not be anytime soon. Don't be surprised this case becomes front and center by next year november. Trump had many firsts such as being the 1st president to be impeached twice and somehow got off. I would not be surprised that in this indictment somehow, he gets off.

Donald Trump is facing about 30 document fraud-related charges in New York City after a grand jury voted Thursday to indict the former president, two sources familiar with the matter tell NBC News.

The exact charges are unknown because the indictment remains under seal until Trump’s arraignment, which is scheduled for Tuesday.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg could choose to unseal the indictment before then, and a judge could consider other applications to do so. But as of Friday morning, it appeared the DA will follow normal procedure and wait to unveil the charges until Trump makes his in-person court appearance Tuesday.

Donald Trump pleads NOT GUILTY to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records

Former President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty to 34 felony criminal charges of falsifying business records in Manhattan criminal court Tuesday afternoon.

The indictment against Trump alleges that the former president sought to undermine the integrity of the 2016 election.

Prosecutors alleged Trump was part of an unlawful plan to suppress negative information, including an illegal payment of $130,000 that was ordered by the defendant to suppress the negative information that would hurt his campaign.

Lost in the shuffle yesterday... but meanwhile...

Appeals court orders Stormy Daniels to pay Trump $122K in legal fees hours after arraignment

Former President Donald Trump secured a legal victory against Stormy Daniels hours after his arraignment in a Manhattan courtroom on Tuesday in connection to a hush-money payment made to the porn star during the 2016 presidential campaign.

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday ordered Daniels to pay Trump $121,972 in legal fees stemming from a 2018 defamation lawsuit she filed against him that was later dismissed.

The nearly $122,000 in legal fees awarded to Trump on Tuesday are on top of some $300,000 Daniels was ordered to pay when the lawsuit was dismissed.

Former President Donald Trump’s 2024 fundraising has been turbocharged by his indictment, according to new figures provided by his campaign.

Trump raised a combined $18.8 million in the first quarter through his joint fundraising committee and his campaign, the latter of which is required to report its first-quarter financial activity on Saturday.

But the campaign also says it brought in nearly the same amount in the two weeks after the charges were filed against the former president — $15.4 million — underscoring just how much the charges against Trump have animated his backers. In another indication that the indictment has helped Trump to grow his fundraising base, nearly a quarter of those who contributed to Trump during that period had never given to him before.

The figures provide a snapshot of how Trump’s arrest has, at least for the time being, shaped the Republican primary. While the former president’s indictment — along with potential future charges in several ongoing investigations — puts him in serious legal jeopardy, it has helped to solidify his standing with his supporters and grow his campaign war chest.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Dominion Voting Systems has filed a $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News, arguing the cable news giant falsely claimed in an effort to boost faltering ratings that the voting company rigged the 2020 election. Friday's defamation lawsuit is the first filed against a media outlet by the Denver-based company at the center of false claims spread by President Donald Trump and his allies after Trump's election loss to Joe Biden. Those claims helped spur on rioters who stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6. Fox News has not responded to an email from The Associated Press seeking comment on the lawsuit. A copy of the lawsuit was obtained by the AP.

Wilmington, Delaware (CNN) Fox News reached a last-second settlement with Dominion Voting Systems on Tuesday as the case raced toward opening statements, paying more than $787 million to end a colossal two-year legal battle that publicly shredded the right-wing network's credibility.

Fox News' $787.5 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems is the largest publicly known defamation settlement in US history involving a media company.

They really should not have settled and let everything be exposed for the political health of the Union. All the Fox lies and the entire Conservative plan of fascism and deliberate treason.

Oh well I guess the Dominion corporate shareholders getting a nice bonus. And America path of self destruction is assured because they're just going to continue the lies and fake outrage at everything now.
