Kite Thread

Where can I find kite thread or a reasonable substitute. Trying to teach my kids to make an old school diamond kite with cocoyea and kite paper instead of them made in China plastic kites, but I can't find kite thread anywhere.

Damn I thought this was the 'Kite Thread'! Oh well so much for the nostalgia.

Btw call or check J. Chai in Arima,large variety of all kinda hardware,hobby and household stocks with that old school Chinee shop ingredient,it may be worth a Chai,I mean try..

I doubt you would be interested in #lb ratings kite thread. Just get some thread in any variety/book store man. Like butcher's twine or strong sewing twine. Boy, even dental floss does work. No big deal about it.
