no idea but likely more expensive as a lot of teak is local whilst these are imported from Guyana

Timber yard in chaguanas and GreenHeart Lumber in Gasparillo. Its like $24.5 + vat a sq ft for green heart. Teak is dependent on size price range from $20-$25

got by Abrahams, Paramin.
they have a lot of greenheart, not so much purple heart as it is a slow seller

Teak looks pretty good for flooring you dont want to use soft wood need something tuff like teak so incase something falls on the floor it can absorb some of the impact

I saw a floor being installed in a tuner's house in Trincity, to tell you the truth, it is a lot of work to do it properly. They even cast wood strips into the concrete as a sub floor before they attached the hardwood strips to it . Then a big machine was used to sand it level.

A wood floor requires maintenance down the road, resand and refinish
Also could warp and bow depending on the quality of wood and how the grain was cut
