TT, Ghana sign air services MOU

Public Utilities Minister Robert Le Hunte and Ghana’s Aviation Minister Joseph Kofi Adda signed an air services agreement Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

TT and Ghana took a step on Sunday towards the establishment of an air services agreement between both countries. A post on the Prime Minister’s Facebook page said Dr Rowley met on with Ghana’s Aviation Minister Joseph Kofi Adda on Sunday.

After the meeting, Public Utilities Minister Robert Le Hunte and Kofi Adda signed an air services agreement Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The post added that with the MOU signed, both countries will “take the next step towards establishing a mutual air services agreement.”

Another post said Rowley also met with Ghana Energy Minister John Peter Amewu on Sunday in Accra. This meeting focused on energy sector collaboration between TT and Ghana, particularly in the area of gas production and processing. Ghana Deputy Energy Minister Dr Mohammed Amin Adam and the Ghana National Gas Company CEO Benjamin Asante also attended that meeting.

When he addressed Ghana independence celebrations at the Baba-Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on March 6, Rowley identified energy and agriculture as two areas which TT was seeking to deepen its collaboration with Ghana. He said these efforts underscored the need for an air services agreement between TT and Ghana. Rowley said this would facilitate direct flights between both countries, to facilitate the movement of people and goods.

Rowley left TT on March 1 for London where he held talks with BP executives. He arrived in Ghana on March 3. Finance Minister Colm Imbert was appointed to act as prime minister until Rowley returns.

Well it's a start.

A lil 80m loss to 1% is small ting.

This should be the norm from now on. Must better than having police and 1% army breaking our speed laws .

oh yes, the ole reliable "i was hacked"
Just to post that one comment eh. Nothing else the hacker did.

In a Facebook post, a commenter asked him if they "had to listen to these MATT apologies for journalists asking irrelevant, dotish and vexing questions?” In response, someone using Deyalsingh’s account told him to “Mute your TV during question time”.

Later Deyalsingh: 'I was hacked!'

the total deaths for respiratory causes was 33 or sumting for the last year. that is for all respiratory things like pneumonia, bronchitis or comon cold etc. the number of bodies they want to test for covid is 70, and we dont know over what time period those bodies were accumulated. if is one week's worth of respiratory deaths, two weeks, a month, since january, we dont know. or and i am not sure if that is all the bodies or just a sample of the bodies.

now the 70 bodies would be the normal respiratory causes + covid cases. so that means if u expected say 40 common respiratory, the balance would be or shoudl be covid.
parasram done come out and say, there is no significant bump in respiratory cases this year, thus far.

but if ur normal shoudl be 40 for a whole year, but at april u already at 70, wich is just a quarter of a year...

rowley real gud at fighting covid. he should take over WHO wuk.

Drove on this yesterday. Still some paving to be done on the filter lanes and thing. They milled some portions and left it so it was uneven and manholes were raised above road level. The milling machine was still there along with Barber Greens and trucks lined off so hopefully it was done.
